Our Urgent Treatment Centre should remain 24/7 sign my petition to support the campaign
Zack Ali, along with MP Henry Smith, voices frustration over Sussex Community NHS Trust's decision to close Crawley's Urgent Treatment Centre overnight. The lack of consultation and short notice are both highlighted, emphasizing the impact on residents seeking care. They have called for transparency on the decision-making and seek a reversal of the pilot closure, advocating for 24/7 access to urgent care. The closure echoes past closures under Labour, emphasizing the importance of the Urgent Treatment Centre.
Zack has started a petition to reverse the pilot closure of the UTC overnight and to return Crawley Hospitals Urgent Treatment Centre to a 24/7 service. Ensuring the people of Crawley can always access the urgent care they need when they need it.
This petition will be presented to the Sussex Community NHS Trust, the Secretary of State for Health and also the Health and Social Care Committee at WSCC. This petition will be presented before the end of the pilot closure, on the 30th of September 2024. Any data collected with this petition will be held until the issue is no longer live and will be used to update residents on the campaign.
